Entrepreneurship is one of the fastest-growing discipline throughout the world. However, the importance of entrepreneurship in economic theory is not new and consistent interest in this topic can be traced back to almost a century ago. As with any young discipline, the role and content of entrepreneurship education remains controversial. It seems difficult to decide if entrepreneurship is rather “science” than “art”, or if can be divided between teachable and non-teachable elements, or if entrepreneurship courses should focus on the advancement of personal enterprising attributes or on the ability to start, develop and manage a firm. This paper questions the relevance and appropriateness of entrepreneurship education. The results show that there is still in important gap between the prescriptions of entrepreneurship courses and training programs, on the one hand, and the insights of entrepreneurship theory, on the other hand.entrepreneurship education, entrepreneur abilities, innovation, uncertainty, entrepreneurship theory

KNOWLEDGE AND MODELS OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

The issue of corporate governance has been largely debated in the literature. Conventionally, corporate governance is viewed either from a stakeholder or a shareholder perspective. This paper discusses the informational aspects of the two models of corporate governance. The role information plays in corporate governance cannot be overstated. Agents involved in corporate governance acquire, create, use and transmit information. Therefore, how the notion of knowledge is conceived is important for the analysis of alternative systems of corporate governance. Basically, there are two types of information processing: internalization and externalization. The internalization-based information processing system corresponds to the stakeholder model of corporate governance. A shareholder model of corporate governance relies on information externalization. Externalization of information is made via the market price system.knowledge, economics of information, information processing, corporate governance, market-based corporate governance

In this paper we emphasize the particularities of the clothing industry market, which requested certain processing of data from the Statistics National Institute, the Economy and Commerce Ministry and the Commerce International Organization. To this end, it was noticed that the products of the clothing industry are mainly for export. Approximately 85% of the clothing products of our country are exported Romania‟s clothing export being directed mainly to the European community‟s countries. The data presented in the paper note the decrease of total exports of the clothing industry in our country, as well as those in the European Union during this last period, which indicates a similar evolution of the Romanian specialized sector on its traditional consumption market. The export performances of the companies in the Romanian clothing industry registered a descending course during the last years, in disagreement, in our opinion, to their productive and commercial potential. In regards to the products intended by the local clothing companies for the internal market, it was noticed that they are characterized by a low sophistication degree, being extremely different in terms of price, quality and distribution circuit as compared to the products sold on international markets. The poor competitive nature of the internal market clothing companies is due both to the ineffective sales and marketing activities, as well as to the decreased financial force of the population. The remarkable and insufficiently exploited potential of the internal market was observed, while the clothing industry producers in Romania should consider its capitalization at the highest level on top of their interest. Though, this remains an extremely difficult process, considering the modest financial force of the population, combined with the aggressive penetration of the foreign products on the internal market.clothing, fast fashion, clothing exports, internal market

For a long period of time the analysis of company's performance has been approached preponderant or only for financial point of view, but in the last half of century, because of an environment characterized by intensified competition, there have been elaborated and developed a number of measurement tools, the goal of which is to reflect all the factors involved in a company's performance. The practic goal of performance measurement, the standard it refers to and the measuring tools are tightly correlated with the objectives of each of the company's stakeholders. In order to obtain a good quantification of company's performance is necessary to use a system of indicators that may provide reliable information for evaluating the degree to which firm's objectives are reached. In this system, financial indicators remain, an essential tool of management, regardless the changes which affect the company's environment.performance measurement, financial indicators, company's performance, non-financial indicators, management, objectives

Government’s involvement in the formation of human capital, public schooling in particular, has been amply criticized by a number of authors. It is nevertheless true that individuals can enhance their productivity to some degree if they accumulate human capital. But the process of human capital accumulation is costly, as any other investment. In this article we intend to extend the criticism to central planned education by focusing on the role education industry plays in the production structure, an issue virtually untouched in previous research.spontaneous order, human capital, public education, capital misallocation

University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Gr. T. Popa”, Iasi, Cardiovascular Disease Institute, Iasi (IBCV Iasi)Introduction: Coronary sinus and ostium primum (unique atrium type) atrial septal defects (ASD) represent rare congenital malformations (less than 1% o f total ASDs) and are frequently associated with persistent left superior vena cava (LSVC). The shunt is caused in the first case by the incomplete development of the wall between the coronary sinus and the left atrium and in the second case, the coronary sinus drains into the single atrial cavity. Case description: Two patients (I. P., 15 years, B. G., 12 years) were operated in 2013 in our clinic. In the first case, although enlargement of the coronary sinus was not identified during echography, angio-CT showed fenestration of the coronary sinus wall and cardiac catheterization documented the bidirectional shunt as well as the persistent LSVC. Moreover, the ASD was associated with patent ductus arteriosis and cor triatriatum. In the second case the ostium primum ASD and the persistent LSVC as well as an anterior mitral valve cleft were diagnosed by echography and CT. Both patients underwent elective surgery. The coronaiy sinus was reconstructed in both cases using autologous pericardial patches. Moreover, in the first patient the ductus arteriosis was ligated and the intraatrial trabeculum was excised. In the second case the interatrial septum was reconstructed with autologous pericardium. Both cases had an unremarkable postoperatory recovery. Conclusions: Both cases showed that although the diagnosis for these malformations requires multiple investigations, a surgical correction with good long term results is feasible if the mechanism of the shunt is well documented
